Minnesota Networking

for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect

Welcome

Minnesota Networking for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect is an online communication tool that provides a space for communities, nonprofits, local units of government, faith communities, and others to connect around issues that are important in providing support for parents and building healthy and safe communities.

This networking website provides an opportunity to share best practices, disseminate the latest research, ask questions, pose solutions, and share successful strategies for child abuse and neglect prevention/early intervention.

Minnesota Networking for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect

This website is sponsored by Prevent Child Abuse Minnesota with support from the Minnesota Department of Human Services' Children's Trust Fund.

By working together, parents, practitioners, community agencies, and state and local government, can build knowledge, skills, and interventions that prevent abuse and neglect on an individual and community-wide level. This site serves to:

1. Connect all those working to promote healthy communities and prevent child abuse and neglect by increasing knowledge and skills of best practices and successful strategies and programming;

2. Promote continuous program improvement by sharing best practices, research, and evaluation data;

3. Promote and publicize statewide child abuse and neglect work to maximize impact of prevention/early intervention efforts; and

4. Recognize and promote the work that is being done in Minnesota at all levels to prevent child abuse and neglect.
